This last August I was on the hunt for a cute little sun bonnet for Ella. I wanted it for the last few weeks of summer and for a few trips we had planned in the fall. I scoured Etsy… there are so many amazing shops making and selling adorable baby bonnets. It was so hard to pick one. One shop stood out, not only did the shop have cute REVERSIBLE bonnets but bows, and bloomers!! Who can say no to bloomers? I can’t. They are so cute on their own or with tights in the cold months.
My order arrived quickly and the bonnet was absolutely perfect. A light chambray on one side and white with polka dots on the other. The bloomers were freaking adorable. The floral print was beautiful and they were really well made. The lovely shop owner, Julie, even included a matching bow headband- swoon. The only problem I had (really wasn’t a problem AT ALL) was the bloomers I ordered were a bit snug on Ella’s deliciously chubby thighs, I felt the bloomers ran a tad small. Ella was about 3 months old at the time so I was banking on being able to wear the bloomers well into the fall (they were a 0-6 month size). I mentioned this in my review, I still gave a full 5 stars because I love the pieces and even mentioned I was interested in ordering the next size up so we could enjoy them longer.
Julie replied to my review saying she appreciated my feedback and wanted redo her bloomer pattern so they are more true to size AND she wanted to send Ella another pair of bloomers at no charge! I told her it was shop owners like her who make me shop small. Shop owners who listen and actually care about their customers loving their products. She was so generous and sent me two pairs of bloomers for Ella. The new pattern fit Ella great.
Julie and I chatted for a while, she’s a super sweet, hard working mama of two in Texas. Not only does she run an amazing Etsy shop, but she works as a caseworker for CPS. I can’t think of a more stressful and emotionally demanding job.
Check her out next time your babe is in need of bloomers, bonnets and bows. Oh and right now she has a few adorable rompers.

Here are a few items I’m coveting from her shop:
(Julie did not ask me to post this, nor am I receiving compensation. I just love promoting and celebrating other mama shops!)
