I’ve been waiting and waiting to post this! But had to wait until after the magazine came out. A while ago a local makeup artist (Ashley from Love Beauty Check her out!) emailed me asking if she could use me as a model for an upcoming Holiday Makeup photo shoot she was doing for a magazine. Of course I said yes. I love having my makeup done and who would pass up a chance to be all dolled up for a night? Plus I happen to adore Ashley. She is incredibly talented and fun to be around, so it was an obvious win-win for me.

The shoot was showcasing a way to make your own sparkly glitter makeup. Ashley had me demonstrate how to do so. Ashley is not only amazing at making you look great, she is a great teacher, she holds makeup classes about once a month where she will teach you how to create a look. I’ve taken her Holiday Makeup class and really want to take her Highlight and Contour class. The next Holiday Makeup Class is December 17th and spots fill FAST! The class is super fun, you learn a ton AND you get makeup to take home!! Email Ashley at email@example.com if you are interested.
It was also fun to meet a local photographer, Caylie Mash of Caylie Mash Photography. She is super sweet and just happened to get engaged a few days before the photoshoot. Such an exciting time!
I borrowed the dress from a friend. It was perfect for the photo shoot. Shop the dress here. I really really love this dress here. But don’t have any fancy events to wear it to! Maybe Chris and I will have to go to the Firefighter Ball this year!!
